Bounce rate is one metric that helps to suggest how useful users are finding our site. If our bounce rate is very high that tends to indicate that our site as a whole isn’t very useful — possibly because it doesn’t contain the information the user was searching for, the information wasn’t easy enough to find, or because the site is hard to read (poor site design, cluttered with ads, etc.).

google specifies threshold time to every websites ex- 2 minute. if user spent time is less than 2 minute then we call it as bounce rate. bounce rate depends on content of our sites, landing page quality etc.,

Bounce rate will be defined as users who visit single page of your site

Pogo sticking will be defined as when user closes your site and returns back to search and clicks another link

Most users decide whether or not they like a website in the first couple of seconds. Often with just a simple glance at the visible area without scrolling. This area differs from one device to another.

Now that you know what your users are looking at, you can optimize this area. It should immediately describe what you are selling and there should be a prominently visible call to action.

Make your call to action clear and honest. Misleading users will create bad user experience which is the number one reason for high bounce rate and low conversions.

Upto 30% is adequate skip rate. Client leave from your site for some reasons, one reason could be they are searching for something comparative however unique in relation to what you offer. Be that as it may, the lesser the better. Part relies upon activity estimate, your site has a huge number of guests every day then 10– 30% is very satisfactory. Nonetheless, if 10– 30 activity is leaving from a fistful of guests then you have to give it a genuine look.

Bounce rate is maximum mistaken metrics in Google Analytics. Bounce rate is the percentage of single web page visits (or web sessions). It is the percentage of visits in which an individual leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any further page OR pages.

Bounce rate is the number of single-page visits by visitors of your website. Bounce rate in terms of website traffic lets you know about the visitors who arrive on your website and leave without initiating any other action or event.
