Can a forum site be monetized with Adsense ads?

I am thinking about trying to make money with Adsense but I don't think I can start a web site and then get rank high on Google just too difficult these day instead I am thinking about starting a forum site but my question is can I monetize a forum site with Adsense ads or Adsense is only allowed on site except forums?

You can monetize or show Adsense ads along any type of content as long as it's not classified by Adsense as prohibited content! Forum is a website and as such can be monetized with Adsense just make sure your niche or forum content is cool with Adsense allowed content!
