The single most important thing for a small business to include in its marketing plan is a very clear understanding of its customers and its competitors

1. Develop a very clear and focused insight into why a potential customer would use your business.
2. Identify your target customers.
3. Identify competitors that would also want your target customers.
4. Write down your brand-positioning statement for your target customers.
5. Incorporate multiple channels into your marketing plans, such as:

Marketing is a top factor in any business and you right when you plan your campaign depending on what type customers or population you target you should take into account many factors. If you TV commercial is targeting kids then you have to make sure the message is clear the ad itself its funny you use some famous cartoon character and colors you choose have to be worm and relaxing all this will make the kid remember the ad for a long time!

You can't do a marketing plan without getting many people involved. Some points are useful create a plan like Analyze your business, Understand your customers, Understand your competition, Understand your collaborators,Define marketing objectives, Develop your marketing strategy, Identify marketing tactics, Determine your marketing budget, Begin to write the executive summary, Complete the Situation Analysis section.
