Free website templates?

I am not very good at website design neither at website development that's why I am using free website template. I got one website template that is wonderful looks great but I am wondering if free template means I can do whatever I want with it? And can I monetize it with Adsense and make money with it?

First of all make sure the template you have it's truly a free website template and is not under some kind of copyrights protection. I recommend you to contact whoever build it and ask them the same question!
