How to Redirect 404 Not Found Page Using .htaccess

Can you help me please. I have noticed on my Google webmaster tools that sometimes Google shows 404 Not Found but the URL is a bit odd. I know that is hurting my search engine optimization and my page rank. Can you help me to redirect all 404 Not Found to another page or home page!

404 Not Found is important not just for search engine optimization but for your website users too. Imagine seeing that Apache default 404 Not Found page every time run in to 404 Not Found code. It is very cool to redirect all 404 Not Found to a custom web page. To redirect all 404 Not Found to a custom page with .htaccess
