I know almost nothing about websites even less about HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and so on! I have decided to create a website to try to make some money. I want to make money with AdSense so I need to create website for AdSense. Obviously I can do that so I am wondering how much new website costs? I need a simple website! Can anybody tell me how to create a website and have it up and running quickly but cheaply.

You've mentioned HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, looks like you know about how to create a website LOL!
It's actually very hard to create website from scratch, I mean PHP based website with database and everything! However looks like you are interesting in a simple HTML website. If you know HTML you can use Dreamweaver to create website, but if you know nothing then the only choice you have is to pay somebody to make website. If you don't want to pay then try to Google for free website templates! Just download free website template and upload that template to your web server. Or you can use websites like 350pages.com that will help you to create a free website with website builder.
At the end if you want to have website and be a webmaster then you need to learn HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript. I am not talking about becoming a website developer or programmer but learn just enough so that you will be able to change or add something to your website.

If you want quick and cheap and to not have to learn programming then you might want to try one of the many new online services that allow you to drag and drop your website design. Most of those also offer a hosting option as well.

But if you are looking to make real money you need to learn programming, you need to create a content rich site that drives your visitors into clicking your Ad's as that will be your monetization method for your site. Running analytics from the day you let the site loose on the web will also enable you to quickly adapt your site to how your visitors are responding to your content and Ad layouts. But content is king, the less original and useful content you have on a site, the less authority your site gets for the keywords you are fighting to rank high in and you end up being one the endless sites that is buried deep into the results page. Good PPC campaigns can also help you monetize your site, though not ideal in all situations. There is no quick simple fast method to start making real money online, like the kind you can live nicely on. It takes lots of endless hours behind a computer screen, flinging lots of code and continuously researching and adapting. You wouldn't jump into a small bucket of water head first, right? Well it is the same principle, there are reasons the ones that make money do, and there are endless reasons there are way more who try and fail. Be one of the ones that makes it online!

Yes if you want to have your own website you need to learn at least HTML code.

Yeah for sure HTML at the very least. I would then go to CSS and then try and combine JS/PHP after that.

Cool, I can't imagine how somebody can remember all that PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, code. It's just something mind boggling. How do you usually begin building a website, where do you start and how do continue until you finish it?

Go follow a tutorial on a basic website creation and then you can get an idea.

You're trying to bite off way too much at this point. What still gets me is you want to make money online yet you do not know anything about programing or sites in general. So your first step before anyone anyplace can help you, is you go start a site that you created and see where you get stuck. When you get stuck before you run for help, make sure you read DOCs investigated solutions on your own. Then come back post the bad code and what you tried and we can help.

What you are asking is basically like if you went on a forum of doctors and said hey, I want to be a surgeon, I know nothing about it. Yet can you explain how you remember all that stuff and so on Tongue

Or the even easier method, pay someone money to do it for you!

You should not take what I have said as any sort of criticism. But you are not showing that you are in the process of learning. More concise questions will enable a deeper understanding of your wants and what others can share with you.

When I started in the internet world what I have said would have been a mellow response to what most would have responded with on the good BBS systems of the early days.

My whole point is that you are going at things in the wrong steps. Just because you create a site does NOT mean you will make money on adsense with it! If you do not want to learn code, which no one can hold your hand through, your only choice is to pay someone money to create the site for you and to maintain it. If you want to choose the later, you will be paying a premium if you actually want something of major value with the best "chance" of actually monetizing at some point down the road.

Do you even have a plan laid out yet? Do you even know what you are going to have on this site that will bring in thousands of visitors a day AND that will want to click on your Ads at the same time? Sure learning about websites is good, but you should stick with just that take out the monetization dreams at this point. Learn one thing at a time, learn it properly, learn it to the point you can teach others, then move on to the next step.

To create a website from scratch it requires to put together a team of specialists in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL and many more.

Open a book and teach yourself? Go to a class and learn? Take a free online course? Start writing code, practice for a couple years and then you will start having "decent quality & safe" code being written.

But come on man you are asking things that are so basic and open ended there is no way to possibly help you with an answer.

But just to be extra nice. Start here for PHP.
http://us.php.net/ - Learn what PHP is and is NOT, Read the long boring DOCs
http://www.w3schools.com/php/ - Free tutorial
http://www.codecademy.com/tracks/php

Now go out and try finding out things yourself and then come back with what you have learned. Share what you have learned, ask questions about it and get a deeper understanding of it. No one here can hold your hand and magically make you a programmer. Show some gumption and get out there and start researching and learning on your own.

Remember, desire to learn, if you have no desire to learn then just forget about it, that will make you bored in 2 second

Nice statement Victor. It is very true. I find it sad so many people want this or that, yet truly have no desire or drive to make that actually happen. They expect others to do their hard work and for free at that. Everything in life is give and take.
