How do you take a take #screenshot in #windows (xp,vista,7,8,10) of the screen you are currently working on?

Step 1 . Press the "Print Screen" (Prt Sc) key on your keyboard. This will capture an image of your entire screen and copy it to the clipboard. The dimensions of the image will be the same as that of your desktop resolution.

Step 2 . Paste the screenshot. Once you have made the screenshot, you will need to paste it to an editor in order to see it. The most common way to paste it is into a Paint file. This will allow you to save it as an image file(bitmap) that can be transferred to others.

Step 3 . Save a full-screen screenshot directly to a file in Windows 8. When you press the Windows key + Prt Sc, you will save a full-screen screenshot directly to a file without having to paste it into another program first. The file is saved to the Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder. If the Screenshots folder does not exist, Windows will create one.

Pressing Print Screen will put the current screen in your clipboard. You can then paste it to Paint or other such software to be able to save it as an image file.

Strategy 2 Taking a One Window Screenshot

Tap the window that you need to catch a picture of. The One Window screenshot capacity will take a photo of the "dynamic" window on your screen. ...

Hold down Alt and press ⎙ PrtScr . A picture of the window will be duplicated to the clipboard. ...

Glue the screenshot.

Print screen tab usually beside F12 is very handy. You can paste it in paint and save it.

Just try as everyone advanced to use the key "Print Screen" on the keyboard.
But if it fails, then you may not have any 'Screenshot' software installed on your system. Install a Screenshot software and then try the same. I use Lightshot.

Pressing the print screen button in running window will copy everything. Then paste the content to paint & save it.
