Should a webmaster make the website title as long as 60 to 70 characters or it's better for #SEO to keep the title short and specific?

Usually titles need to be catchy to capture the attention of potential readers the usual length is minimum of 4 words and maximum of 7 words. Try to make your title unique and use appropriate keywords in it.

I personally think that you need to narrow your niche at first thus only target one or 2 keywords max in your title.

Now a days, google typically shows 50 to 60 characters in title tag. If you keep the title under 55 characters, at least 95% of title display properly

Long tail keywords are good as compared to short keywords as competition is low for long tail keyword, high focus, low cost, high conversion rate, etc.

do not make it too long, just keep it moderate. but whether long or short, just make sure your niche keyword(s) is included in tile or headline or topic. that is most crucial of them all.

As long as it is descriptive. Keep in mind that title should have its keyword or brand name on it, and most especially what is the page about.
