We all know in the past Google had a limit of 100 links per page right! Now they seem to drooped it claiming their crawlers are more than capable of crawling more than 100 links!

My question is: Could heaving 100+ links on page have a negative impact on #SEO of the page?

There is no such thing as Google limiting a page to have 100 links only.

No, because there is no limit at all, but you will take consequences on what you've applied in terms of optimization.

The search engines all have a rough crawl limit of 150 links per page before they may stop spidering additional pages linked to from the original page. This limit is somewhat flexible, and particularly important pages may have upwards of 200 or even 250 links followed, but in general practice, it's wise to limit the number of links on any given page to 150 or risk losing the ability to have additional pages crawled.

There are no such limits to have 100+ link on a page affects your SEO but what kind of links you're talking about?
If you are talking about outbound links so what is need of using so many outbound links on the page?
If you are talking about an internal link so it would be better to use links when you have something valuable where you land your users for the particular hyperlinked text.
So many outbound links do not sound good and also depend on how much content you have on the page and best practice to use these types of links use rel=nofollow.

Strange case when I add more than 100 links page droops from rankings :? Maybe Google takes it down until it finishes indexing all links??? Not sure.
