Contact your hosting provider an ask them to increase max_connection value.

On most shared hosting it limits a user to: maximum 10 consecutive connection and 75000 queries per hour.

Check with your hosting provider for exact number of maximum connections they to allow for a site. Limit your Mysql connections inorder to prevent thing error on your site.

You can increase this value in main config file (e.g., / etc /my[dot]cnf) using this syntax:

[mysqld]
set-variable=max_connections=250

SQL max- connections error returns the maximum number of simultaneous user connections allowed on an instance of SQL Server. The number returned is not necessarily the number currently configured.
