Is it OK not to use or not to say the past perfect and the present perfect only the simple past? When I hear Americans talk they almost never say past perfect neither the present perfect only the simple past! 001_glare

Of-course you can but it's gonna sound odd! You have to use the past perfect and the present perfect to describe stuff that has just happened! 001_sneaky
