The most recent update released by Google is Panda 4.0 and it targets:
Low quality content.
Lack of backlinks.
Performance.

If any of those are relevant to your site than it could be it. But since Google has so many algorithms I don't know for sure.

What do you means by "penalized" have you lost rankings, traffic or PR?

First day, I lost the rankings, obviously the traffic goes down from the second day.
Before a year, I heard a service named ??? that detects which update HITS the website? Do you know any kind of service like that buddy?

You can start by checking this video regarding "How can I tell if my site is affected by a particular algorithm? "

Pretty much all paid SEO services offer some sort of way to find that out!

Experts advice's to install Fruition to know which Google update beats you.
I an not experienced with Fruition, but many Webmasters suggests it.

Fruition (Sure gives the idea of what SEO update kicks.)
CognitiveSEO (Make you to know the unnatural links)
SEM RUSH (Check with the drops in keywords rankings/Ads traffic) - Also check parallel with Moz's Google algorithm change history.
Google Analytics and webmaster tools (Manual link penalty, Traffic loss checker)

Combined results of all the above sure will gives you a BETTER IDEA.
