The main genuine cost is web facilitating and space. WPBeginner clients can get an area name and web facilitating for as low as $3.95/month from Bluehost or Siteground (both authoritatively suggested WordPress facilitating suppliers). Extra expenses would be business WordPress subjects. Be that as it may, you are not required to utilize those.

Yes, it's free to use and to create a website. Some plugins and themes are not free. You have to buy them if you need them.

Yes, it is free to design your website but will give you limited access to advanced features.
For getting all the personalization enabled you need to go for a paid version.

As most people already mentioned in this thread, yes WordPress is completely free. And the great thing about it is, it’s an open source program, which means basically anyone can use it, modify it and build upon it - and that why you have so many plugins for it.

Now, there some limitations to WordPress… For example, you can’t alter the page structure, so you can’t add any new widgets and if you want to display multiple images, the options are very, very limited. And if you want to add some “style” to your page, it will cost you…

All in all, if you want an easy-to-use platform with good security and backup, WordPress is a good choice. Just keep in mind that you’ll have some design limitations and the site won;t be completely under your control.

Wordpress is free to use, but you often have to pay for wordpress theme because the free one often bad.

Also you may also pay for plugin...
