To Enabling mod_expires with Your Hosting Account you have to first create a text file .txt and paste this code into it:

Code:
ExpiresActive on
    ExpiresByType image/jpg "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/gif "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/png "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType text/css "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType text/x-javascript "access 1 month"

Now save it as all files and .htaccess then upload it to your website root directory! If you have more than one site then into each one them.

Aside from alternate interval syntax
Code:
ExpiresDefault "access plus 1 week"

It could be fine tuned by adding 'num type' clauses
Code:
ExpiresByType

It won't make much difference because GoDaddy is slow anyway. Smile

You want more resources like CPU/MEM/Disk IO and no amount of htaccess rules is going to help with that.
