Hello ladies this is my first blog how cool is this!

Facebook comments plugin moderation tool not working right here I will show you how to fix it!

Most of the people have the issue with connecting their Facebook APP to their Facebook comments plugin the problem is that the comments are not showing on moderation tool and I had spend really 2 days on researching and trying out tips and tricks but finally found the solution which was not describe anywhere!

OK so here is how to add comments to the website and link it to moderation tool.

The first thing you need is to create an APP:

Make sure you are logged in as Admin then go to this URL: https://developers.facebook.com/apps/ and click on Add a New APP.

Under Select a platform to get started click on Website WWW.

Input the name of your APP avoid mentioning FB or Facebook in the name and click on Create New Facebook APP ID.

Under Create a New App ID only select Category and click Create APP ID.

Under Setup the Facebook SDK for JavaScript scroll all the way down and under Tell us about your website input the URL of the page where the comments plugin is installed!

Click NEXT to finish!

Now go back to: https://developers.facebook.com/apps/ and click on the APP you have just created and then click on Settings!

This is tricky part if done wrong won't work!

At the bottom of the page under Website make sure the URL is the same as the one where the comments plugin is installed! It should look like this:

http://www.amigote.com/buscar-pareja/ note the trailing slash at the end /

If Website doesn't show click on Add Platform then on Website

Now above in settings locate App Domains and input there your domain name. The domain name has to be the same as you mentioned in the Website section and in this format:

amigote.com

Under Contact Email input your email address and press Save Changes.

Optional! I am not sure if it helps but click on Advanced find: Valid OAuth redirect URIs and input there the URL where the comments are installed: http://www.amigote.com/buscar-pareja/ note the trailing slash at the end /

Don't forget to press Save Changes

Now on on the right side menu click on: Status & Review

Next to Do you want to make this app and all its live features available to the general public? it will show NO simply change it to YES

You should see a green icon image that says: Live and available for all users

This concludes APP part.

Now lets set up comments plugin!

Open your HTML page source code and locate: </head> then above it add this code:

Code:
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="Replace with Facebook APP ID"/>
<meta property="og:url" content="Replace with URL of the page where comments are installed don't forget trailing slash at the end" />
<meta property="og:title" content="Replace with Page Title" />
<meta property="og:type" content="Website" />
<meta property="og:description" content="Add Some description" />
<meta property="og:image" content="Replace with some image 200px 200px" />

Now in the HTML code locate: <body> add after it:

Code:
<script>
  window.fbAsyncInit = function() {
    FB.init({
      appId      : 'Replace with Facebook APP ID',
      xfbml      : true,
      version    : 'v2.4'
    });
  };

  (function(d, s, id){
     var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
     if (d.getElementById(id)) {return;}
     js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
     js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js";
     fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
   }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
</script>

And finally add this code where you wish the comments to show:

Code:
<div class="fb-comments" data-href="Replace with URL of the page where comments are installed don't forget trailing slash at the end" data-width="100%" data-numposts="15"></div>

Now if you go to the page that has comments plugin installed logged in as Facebook admin or moderator you should see: Moderation Tool link next to the account of comments.

To or make someone a moderator apart from you simply go to: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments/ choose your APP then on the right side click on Settings under Moderators add users.

Use Facebook debugger to check for errors: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Thanks so much works great! I spend a ton of time searching forums and all of them pretty much say that you only have to add Admin or App ID meta tag and it will work but NO you need to follow all the steps you described in this tutorial and it does work great!
